Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to every rental and lease provided by HG Car Rental and Leases in St. Kitts & Nevis. Your signed rental agreement takes precedence where it differs.
Driver requirements
Drivers must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid licence issued at least two years prior, together with a local St. Kitts & Nevis temporary driving permit. Additional drivers must be registered on the agreement before driving.
Bookings and confirmation
A booking request submitted through this website is an enquiry, not a confirmed reservation. Your rental is confirmed once our team has verified availability and agreed the rate with you in writing or by phone.
Rates, deposits and payment
Rates quoted are per day unless stated otherwise and exclude fuel and optional extras. A refundable security deposit is required at pickup and released after the vehicle is returned undamaged.
Fuel and mileage
Vehicles are supplied with an agreed fuel level and should be returned at the same level. Unlimited mileage is available on selected plans; otherwise mileage allowances are stated on your agreement.
Insurance and liability
All vehicles carry local insurance. Optional coverage upgrades reduce your excess. The renter remains responsible for traffic fines, damage caused by prohibited use, and losses not covered by the selected policy.
Use of the vehicle
Vehicles may not be used for racing, towing, off-road driving beyond marked tracks, sub-letting, or transporting goods for hire. Smoking in the vehicle incurs a cleaning charge.
Returns, extensions and cancellations
Please return the vehicle at the agreed time and location; late returns may be charged an additional day. Extensions are subject to availability. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before pickup are free of charge.
Breakdowns and assistance
Roadside assistance is included with every rental. In the event of a breakdown or accident, contact us immediately and do not authorise repairs without our written approval.
